Cricket World Cup Dates

The 2011 Cricket World Cup Dates has announced by International Cricket Council (ICC).

The tournament will run from 19th February to 2nd March by hosting countries India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. ICC announcement has confirmed that the tournament will have held with 14 teams with two groups separately.Group A will have Australia, Pakistan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Canada, Kenya and Group B will have India, South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh, Ireland and Netherland.

Cricket World Cup 2011 Dates

The Cricket World Cup 2011 Opening ceremony will held on 17th February at Shere Bangla Stadium in Dhaka.

The other league matches will be played from 19th February to 20th march at defined venue in all hosted country.

The First Quarter final match will be held on 23rd March at Shere Bangla Stadium, Mirpur in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Second Quarter final match will held on 24th March at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka.The Third Quarter final match will organize on 25th March at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur in Dhaka, Bangladesh and fourth will be held on 26th March at Sardar Patel Stadium, Motera in Ahmadabad, India. There will be two semifinal event held on 29th March and 30th march per each. First semifinal will be held at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka and second semifinal will be held at Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali, India. The Final Match of Cricket World Cup 2011 will be held on 2nd April at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, India.
