FIFA World CUP

FIFA World Cup is a big tournament of the World.

It has also called Football World Cup and Soccer World Cup has organized by Federation of International Football Association (FIFA), the sport's world governing body. In current format, there are 32 teams participates in FIFA World Cup. The Football matches are the most widely view in the world.

The World cup has organized every four years. It had started since 1930. The current champions of the FIFA World Cup 2010 are Spain. FIFA was founded in 1904 as governing body.

In 1914, FIFA had to recognized the Olympics tournament as a "World Football Championship" and accept the responsibility of organizing the tournament. The First FIFA World Cup had hosted by Uruguay in 1930.

That tournament was won by the Uruguay defeated Argentina by 4-2 in Montevideo becomes the first nation to win the world cup title. Brazil had won the two titles of 1934 and 1938 world cup tournament. Due to World War, there was canceled the tournament of 1942 and 1946. Brazil is the most successful team of the world. They have won the five titles in the FIFA World Cup. Another FIFA tournament is also FIFA Women's World Cup was first held in 1991 in the People's Republic of China. FIFA also have to organize international tournaments for youth football.
